How we evaluate marketing email tools
Marketing Email Tools compares general SMB email platforms for newsletters, promotions, automations, and small business workflows. We read vendor pricing pages and documentation, record the date checked, and explain the cost at practical list sizes.
Prices and limits
Prices come from vendor pricing pages, checked on the date shown on each page. We record contact bands, send allowances, free plans, seats, add-ons, and overage rules when the vendor publishes them. Calculations show the arithmetic so you can adjust the model for your list.
Every price is quoted with its plan name and its billing view, because the same platform can cost different amounts monthly and yearly. When a vendor publishes no list price, the page says the price is on request instead of estimating a number.
Feature and integration claims
Feature descriptions trace to the vendor's own documentation or product pages. "Native integration" means the connection works without custom webhook code; where a connection needs development work, the page says so. Where two vendors use the same word for different things — automation, segmentation, transactional — the page spells out what each one actually does rather than repeating the marketing label.
Screenshots
Screenshots are captured from the live public vendor page on the date in the caption. A page says when a capture is unavailable; we never substitute a different vendor image.
How picks are made
A pick is the platform that fits the page's stated audience at a price that audience actually pays, weighed on workflow depth, deliverability, integrations, pricing, and operational effort. Pages state one concrete reason for the pick and the price that applies, and they name the runner-up with the conditions that would make it the better choice, so you can disagree with the pick and still use the comparison.
What we do not do
We do not invent tests, performance statistics, customer stories, ratings, or reviewer identities. Rankings are not sold. We use public evidence and state the trade-offs that remain uncertain.
How to report a correction
Send the page URL, the sentence or number you dispute, and the vendor page that shows the right figure through the contact page. We re-read the vendor's own page first and change ours when that source supports the correction. Corrected pages get their date updated so you can see when the number last changed.
